Quilty’s Caleb Williams joins Connectivity Next Summit 2023

The Connectivity Business News editorial team is pleased to announce that Caleb Williams, vice president of platforms and solutions at Quilty Space, the space industry-focused branch of investment firm Quilty Analytics, will moderate a panel discussing mergers and acquisitions trends in the space sector at Connectivity Next Summit 2023 on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 9:35 a.m. (ET).

The Connectivity Next Summit 2023, with its focus on trends and opportunities in satellite and telecom connectivity, is the ideal event for satellite operators and connectivity industry leaders. It will take place Nov. 13-14 at Loews Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta.

Williams will lead a panel discussing the current and future space and satellite investment landscape, acquisition activity among satcom providers and the benefits of vertical integration and collaboration among connectivity providers to deliver multi-orbital solutions.

At Space Symposium 2023 in April, Quilty noted that space investment in 2021 saw record activity but hit a slump in 2022 due to macroeconomic conditions such as inflation.

M&A activity in 2023 will likely mirror last year’s, but rising capital costs are “diminishing the overall deal size and valuation peaks that were seen in 2020,” Williams told CBN.

Despite the current economic climate, “the space sector remains flush with opportunities for savvy investors,” he said.

Williams, along with guest speakers JP Morgan Executive Director Aly Lalani, Summit Ridge Group founder and President Armand Musey, Milbank Partner Dara Panahy and GH Partners Managing Director Noel Rimalovski, will provide an update on the state of space investment and other financial trends impacting the space and satellite industry.

Connectivity Next Summit 2023 is the only event to delve deeply and holistically into satellite connectivity’s future with an aim to help satcom professionals identify better strategies for growth and profitability.
