Loureiro will join a Connectivity Business News editor to discuss trends in the government space market.
A U.S. Army veteran in addition to his role at L3Harris, according to LinkedIn, Loureiro will speak to the importance of collaboration between the government and commercial space companies on innovative warfighting solutions.
“Commercial space providers on the ‘battlefield’ is a reality today and will continue to evolve as a reality tomorrow,” Loureiro said in a recent social media post.
Melbourne, Fla.-based L3Harris (NYSE: LHX) last month reported $4.7 billion in revenues and $25 billion in backlog for the second quarter, which the company attributed to strong government bookings.
Shortly after its earnings release, L3Harris announced it had closed a $4.7 billion acquisition of Sacramento, Calif.-based aerospace company Aerojet Rocketdyne. L3Harris expects the purchase to strengthen U.S. national security by enabling L3Harris to scale up delivery of warfighter technologies.
Connectivity Next is the only event to delve deeply and holistically into satellite connectivity’s future with an aim to help satcom professionals identify better strategies for growth and profitability.
